Interior Trends 2023
Check out our designer’s round up of Interior Trends to look out for in 2023 - whether you’ve got a commercial, residential or hospitality project in mind, we predict you’ll be seeing a lot of these ideas in the coming year…
Soft curved interiors are following us right into 2023. Whether its furniture, wall and ceiling features, bespoke joinery or artwork. Often a great way to create an interior vignette in your commercial spaces, ideal for highlighting your products. Curves will create a soft inviting atmosphere and create a sense of movement and direction in your space – guiding your customer to right where they need to be.
Not just for commercial spaces, curved furniture has made its way into our homes this year too. Try a curved sofa to create a unique divide in larger open plan spaces. If you want to hop on the interior curves trend in a more budget-friendly way – add curved mirrors and artwork to your walls.
Lime wash dates to the Roman era, so it’s about time it made a comeback! Like the soft curves, lime wash has a warm, cocooning and earthy feel. Limewash painting is ideal for those who are a little scared of a bold wallpaper but want more from their walls than a stark white box. Adding subtle texture in a warm neutral colour palette adds interest to your room. Commonly seen in if you’re feeling a bit bolder try a khaki green or terracotta colour palette.
Kitchens certainly don’t need to be boring and sterile in 2023! We predict we’ll be seeing a lot of deep rust and red hues in kitchens this year. Often a colour that can be quite intimidating these beautiful deep hues can be paired with lighter tonal colours to create a cool modern finish. Reds aren’t the only colour on the block this year, you’ll be seeing lots of pink and green hues in kitchens. Anything goes – pick your favourite colour for a completely bespoke look!
Green interiors, in the more ways than one! With so many hues of green to choose from we’re seeing green in kitchens, bathrooms, bars and bedrooms! Green represents new beginnings and growth, a positive colour with a positive energy. We’re not just talking about the colour green, we’re sure to see more and more sustainable materials being used in 2023. Expect to see cork as well as reclaimed timber and furniture in both commercial and residential designs.
